Hotel Development in Tsuen Wan

Singular Studio provided architectural, design and planning consultancy services for the successful planning permission for “Hotel” use and minor relaxation of maximum plot ratio restriction from 0.4 to 0.6 and maximum building height restriction from 3 storeys to 5 storeys to facilitate the redevelopment of a recreational club to a resort hotel with site area of 13,850sq.m.

The hotel block is designed to have a 15m building gap above the first storey to provide visual, air and sunlight permeability, and is curved to respond to the flowing form of hills and streams nearby.

The hotel development offers a place for local and foreign visitors for retreat in high quality resort development in a natural setting. It also contributes to realize the opportunities of local based eco-tourism industry as well as consolidate Hong Kong as a core demonstration zone for multi-destination tourism and international tourism hub.
